A women’s retreat on Vancouver Island

The Art of Empowerment

April 4 - 6, 2025

Join us for a transformative weekend retreat designed to nourish your spirit, awaken your creativity, and deepen your connection with both yourself and the natural world.

Nestled in a beautiful and rustic forested setting in the Highlands of Victoria, BC, this retreat offers a sacred space for women to gather, reflect, and reclaim their inner power through art-making, meditation, breathwork, and community connection.

Is this you?

You’re a busy woman trying to juggle doing it all – maybe you’re a working mom, or an entrepreneur with a growing business, or a side hustle girly in addition to your corporate job. On top of it all you’ve got a social life, a workout schedule, sleep hygiene & skincare, trying to keep the house clean…. and you never seem to find enough time for yourself. If this sounds familiar you probably also:

  • are doing your best to try and make everyone else around you happy, but it often leads you to feeling overwhelmed and resentful.

  • have an inner critic that can get really loud when you experience difficult emotions (aka it’s not safe to feel your feelings).

  • would like to be able to ask for more help, but you feel uncomfortable expressing your needs.

  • would like to have healthier boundaries for your time and energy, but you feel guilty saying no.

If this is sounding familiar… you’re in the right place. We’ve carved out this time for go-getters just like you to have an opportunity to slow down, listen to your inner voice, and build your capacity to hold space for your own emotions, and to ask for what YOU need so you can find more joy, fulfillment and peace.

What to Expect:

Over the course of the weekend, you’ll be guided through a series of empowering activities that are designed to help you reconnect with your authentic self, tap into your creativity, and cultivate a deeper connection to nature and the collective wisdom of the women around you.

  • Art-Making for Self-Expression: Engage in immersive art sessions where you’ll explore creative practices that tap into your intuition. Using natural materials and eco-friendly supplies, you’ll create artwork that reflects your inner journey and helps you harness and express the unique strengths and gifts you hold.

  • Somatic Experiencing: Through body-based practices rooted in somatic experiencing, you’ll learn to listen to your body’s cues and process emotions that may be stored within. This approach supports your nervous system’s natural ability to heal from stress and trauma, allowing you to feel more grounded and empowered in your body.

  • Meditation & Breathwork: Experience calming meditations and breathwork sessions in the tranquil forest environment. These daily practices will center and balance you, while providing powerful tools to access deeper states of relaxation, clarity, and empowerment. These practices will help you release old patterns and step into your personal power.

  • Nature-Based Connection: Surrounded by towering trees and lush forest landscapes of the pacific northwest, you’ll have the opportunity to experience the healing power of nature. Spending mindful time in nature, you’ll feel deeply connected to the Earth and your place within it.

  • Sacred Community: Gather with like-minded women, sharing stories, movement, laughter, and insights in a safe and supportive space. You’ll experience the strength of collective empowerment, finding support and inspiration with your fellow participants. Together, we’ll create a collective of trust and empowerment, where each participant’s journey is honored, and the strength of community is celebrated.

What You’ll Take Away:

By the end of this retreat, you’ll leave feeling more connected to yourself, your environment, and a community of like-minded women. You'll gain:

  • A deeper sense of self-empowerment and confidence.

  • Mindfulness practices to nurture your mind and body.

  • Creative and Somatic tools that you can take home and incorporate into your daily life.

  • A renewed sense of connection to nature, your self energy, and a supportive community of women.

  • An enhanced capacity to hold your own emotions, practice assertiveness and establish health boundaries.

This retreat is designed for women and women identifying individuals of all backgrounds and experiences—whether you're seeking personal growth, a creative boost, or simply time to reconnect with yourself in a peaceful and inspiring setting, The Art of Empowerment will provide you with a weekend of deep nourishment for your soul.
