Group Art Therapy Workshops
If you are looking for a creative way to bring people together, support community or team building, or think outside the box for your next event, consider a therapeutic art making workshop!
These sessions can be tailored to support a wide range of folks, from children and teens, to adults and elderly folks. We have experience in supporting small/intimate groups, special populations, and large workplace organizations. This a great way for your team or group to get to know one another better, as well as find a deeper connection to themselves in the process.
We work with a variety of different art materials including paint, clay, tote bags, and other materials. Our facilitators provide guidance to support individuals to express themselves creatively through the art making process. There are no strict rules or expectations regarding artistic skill or technique. Participants are encouraged to come as they are and enjoy the process!
Throughout the session, participants may have opportunities to share their artwork with the group if they feel comfortable doing so. Group members may also engage in discussions or reflections about their artwork, providing support and feedback to one another.
The art therapist facilitates discussions and reflections on the artwork created during the session. This may involve exploring the symbolism, emotions, and personal insights conveyed through the art, as well as connections to broader themes or experiences.
